Rybelsus Dose Schedule

The Rybelsus (oral semaglutide) dose schedule: 3 mg daily for 30 days, then 7 mg, then 14 mg if needed, plus how to take it and what to do after a missed dose.

Rybelsus (oral semaglutide) dose schedule from the U.S. prescribing information. Rybelsus is a once-daily tablet for adults with type 2 diabetes, also approved to lower the risk of major cardiovascular events in high-risk adults with type 2 diabetes; it is not approved for weight management. The starting dose is 3 mg daily for days 1 to 30, which is not effective for blood-sugar control. On day 31 the dose increases to 7 mg, and from day 61 the prescriber may raise it to 14 mg if more control is needed. Take it on an empty stomach with up to 4 oz of plain water and wait at least 30 minutes before food, drinks or other oral medicines. A missed dose is skipped. The same label covers Ozempic tablets (1.5, 4 and 9 mg), which are not interchangeable with Rybelsus milligram for milligram. GLPeak can remind you daily and logs every dose and dose change.
